Interfaith Family Pride Festival returns to Raymond Park for Pride 2025!
Last year, fifteen faith communities came together to plan a youth and family focused pride event that was inclusive, joyful, and representative of the rich diversity of Evanston. We brought over 500 people to Raymond Park on a glorious Sunday afternoon to hear music, to dance and sing, to make art, eat ice cream, tell stories, and declare that the love of God extends to all corners of creation and is available to all persons.
This year we seek to deepen the relationships between our congregations and the LGBTQ+ community and to demonstrate that our queer communities of faith are steadfast and strong. We will not allow the forces of intolerance to diminish our light or erase our existence. We will shine forth with pride in the park!
The 2025 Interfaith Family Pride Fest will feature a rich array of talented musicians, performers and choirs from the main stage on Hinman Avenue. In the park there will be games, art, and activities for the enjoyment of our guests. Carnival snacks and beverages will be provided. This event is expected to be a memorable one and entirely free of charge.
